The Prophet ﷺ said, "Two directions of prayer cannot coexist in one land, and no tribute tax is levied upon Muslims."
حدثنا أبو كريب حدثنا جرير عن قابوس بهذا الإسناد نحوه
Takhrij (Sourcing): [Its chain of transmission is daif] see the previous hadith. On this topic there is also a narration from Saeed bin Zayd [Ahmad, 1/190], and one from the grandfather of Harb bin Ubaydullah Thaqafi [Abu Dawud, no. 3046]. The hadith "There is no jizyah or tithes due from Muslims" has corroborating witnesses.
