The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Whoever acquires wealth owes no zakat on it until a full year has passed over it in his possession."
حدثنا يحيى بن موسى حدثنا هارون بن صالح الطلحي المدني حدثنا عبد الرحمن بن زيد بن أسلم عن أبيه
قال رسول الله ﷺ من استفاد مالا فلا زكاة عليه حتى يحول عليه الحول عند ربه
[Its chain is daif]. Baghawi related it in Sharh al-Sunnah, hadith no. 1576, from the narration of Tirmidhi with the same chain. This hadith has daif corroborating narrations in Abu Dawud, no. 1573, and Ibn Majah, no. 1792, and others.On this topic there is also a narration from Sara bint Nabhan, perhaps referring to the hadith of Tabarani in Mujam al-Kabir, 24/308, no. 778.
