Umar bin Abdul-Aziz asked me about the alms due on honey.I replied, "We have no honey from which to give alms, but Mughira bin Hakeem informed us that he said there is no alms due on honey."Umar said, "He is a trustworthy and reliable authority." He then wrote to the people that it should be lifted from them.
