[Its chain is daif]. Ahmad reported it 3/179 from Waki with the same wording. It has another version in Abu Dawud, no. 95, and that hadith is sahih. Sharik used ambiguous transmitter language (anana). It is also found in Sharh al-Sunnah 2/52, no. 278, transmitted through Tirmidhi with the same wording. The hadith of Shubah was reported by Muslim (352), and it makes this narration unnecessary. As for the hadith of Sufyan Thawri, I did not find it.
