Abu Waqid Laythi was asked what the Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to recite during the prayers of Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. He replied that he would recite "Qaf. By the glorious Quran" [Qaf 50:1] and "The Hour has drawn near and the moon has split" [Qamar 54:1].

ما كان رسول الله ﷺ يقرأ به في الفطر والأضحى قال كان يقرأ بق والقرآن المجيد واقتربت الساعة وانشق القمر
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of the Two Eid Prayers, chapter on what is recited in the two Eid prayers, hadith no. 891, from the hadith of Malik through the same route, and it is found in Muwatta: 1/180 (Yahya).
