The Prophet ﷺ forbade sitting with one's knees drawn up and wrapped in a garment during the Friday sermon while the imam is delivering it.
حدثنا محمد بن حميد الرازي وعباس بن محمد الدوري قالا حدثنا أبو عبد الرحمن المقرئ عن سعيد بن أبي أيوب حدثني أبو مرحوم
أن النبي ﷺ نهى عن الحبوة يوم الجمعة والإمام يخطب
[Its chain of transmission is hasan]. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Prayer, in the chapter on sitting with the arms wrapped around the knees while the imam is delivering the sermon, hadith no. 1110, from the hadith of Abdullah bin Yazid Muqri, through this route. Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith no. 1815, as did Hakim, 1/289, and Dhahabi agreed with him, while Baghawi graded it hasan.
