The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The best day on which the sun has risen is Friday. On it Adam was created, on it he was admitted into Paradise, and on it he was sent down from it. On it there is an hour during which no Muslim servant happens to be praying and asks Allah for something except that He grants it to him."Abu Hurairah said, "I then met Abdullah bin Salam and mentioned this hadith to him."Abdullah bin Salam said, "I know better which hour that is."Abu Hurairah said, "Tell me about it, and do not withhold it from me."He said, "It is after Asr until the sun sets."Abu Hurairah said, "How can it be after Asr, when the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, 'No Muslim servant happens to be praying,' and at that hour no prayer is performed?"Abdullah bin Salam replied, "Did the Messenger of Allah ﷺ not say, 'Whoever sits in a place waiting for the prayer is in prayer'?"Abu Hurairah said, "Yes."He said, "Then that is it."
Sourcing, its isnad is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Prayer, chapter on the excellence of the day of Jumuah and the night of Jumuah, hadith 1046, from the hadith of Malik through the same route at length, and it is found in Muwatta 1/108–110 (Yahya's recension). Ibn Khuzayma graded it sahih, hadith 1738, as did Ibn Hibban, hadith 1024, and Hakim, 1/278–279, saying it meets the conditions of the two Shaikhs, and Dhahabi agreed with him, hadith 278/1, along with others.
