The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The closest of people to me on the Day of Resurrection will be those who sent the most blessings upon me."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار بندار حدثنا محمد بن خالد ابن عثمة حدثني موسى بن يعقوب الزمعي حدثني عبد الله بن كيسان أن عبد الله بن شداد أخبره
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال أولى الناس بي يوم القيامة أكثرهم علي صلاة
[Its chain of transmission is hasan]. Bukhari also narrated it in Tarikh al-Kabir 5/177 through the hadith of Muhammad bin Uthmah, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith 2389. It is also found in Sharh al-Sunnah by Baghawi, 3/196, 197, hadith 686, through the route of Tirmidhi with the same wording, and Muslim, hadith 408, and Baghawi graded it hasan. The hadith has a corroborating witness, the hadith, "Whoever sends blessings upon me once..." and so on [Nasai 1297, with similar meaning].
