The Prophet ﷺ performed ablution. He washed his face three times, washed each of his hands twice, wiped his head, and washed each of his feet twice.
حدثنا محمد بن أبي عمر حدثنا سفيان بن عيينة عن عمرو بن يحيى عن أبيه
أن النبي ﷺ توضأ فغسل وجهه ثلاثا وغسل يديه مرتين مرتين ومسح برأسه وغسل رجليه مرتين
[Sahih] Humaydi also narrated it, no. 417, from Sufyan bin Uyayna, through the same route, explicitly stating that he heard it directly. Bukhari also narrated it, no. 185, and Muslim, no. 235, from the hadith of Amr, through the same route.
