The Prophet ﷺ used to pray thirteen rakahs during the night.
حدثنا أبو كريب قال حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن أبي جمرة الضبعي
كان النبي ﷺ يصلي من الليل ثلاث عشرة ركعة
Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari transmitted it in the chapter on tahajjud, in the section "How did the Prophet pray, and how much did the Prophet pray at night?", hadith no. 1138, and Muslim, hadith no. 764, from the hadith of Shubah through this same chain.
