The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The two units of prayer before Fajr are better than the world and everything in it."
حدثنا صالح بن عبد الله الترمذي حدثنا أبو عوانة عن قتادة عن زرارة بن أوفى عن سعد بن هشام
قال رسول الله ﷺ ركعتا الفجر خير من الدنيا وما فيها
Muslim also reported it, Book of the Prayer of Travelers, Chapter on the Recommendation of the Two Sunnah Units of Fajr and the Encouragement to Perform Them, etc., hadith no. 725, from the hadith of Abu Awana, with the same wording.There are also narrations on this subject from Ali, the author is referring to the hadith of Ali found in Ahmad [1/147], from Ibn Umar [Tabarani in Al-Kabir, 12/408, no. 13502], and from Ibn Abbas [Nasai, no. 1783].
