The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Allah has commanded me to recite the Quran to you." So he recited to him "Those who disbelieved..." [Bayyinah 98:1], and he recited within it, "Indeed, the true religion with Allah is the upright Muslim faith, not Judaism, not Christianity, and not Magianism. Whoever does good, his reward will not be denied."He also recited to him, "If the son of Adam had a valley of wealth, he would seek a second one, and if he had a second, he would seek a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah turns in mercy to whoever repents."
