Anas bin Malik reported,
Someone asked, "Messenger of Allah, who is the most beloved of people to you?"He replied, "Ayesha."The questioner asked, "And among men?"He answered, "Her father."

[Sahih]. Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Muqaddimah, "The Merit of Abu Bakr Siddiq" 
, no. 101, from the hadith of Mutamir with the same wording. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (al-Ihsan): 7063, and it has many corroborating narrations, including the preceding hadith: 3885.
