The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Allah has commanded me to recite to you."So he recited to him, "Those who disbelieved among the People of the Book..." [Bayyinah 98:1], and within it he recited, "Indeed, the true religion in the sight of Allah is the upright submission, neither Judaism nor Christianity. Whoever does good will not have it denied to him."He also recited to him, "If the son of Adam had a valley of wealth, he would seek a second one, and if he had a second, he would seek a third. Nothing fills the belly of the son of Adam except dust, and Allah relents toward whoever repents."
Its isnad is hasan. Ahmad also narrated it in 5/131, from the hadith of Shuba with the same wording, and it is found in Musnad Abu Dawud Tayalisi, no. 539. Hakim declared it sahih in 2/224, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Hafiz said in Fath al-Bari, "Its chain is jayyid." The hadith of Abdullah bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abza was narrated by Abu Dawud, no. 3981, and the hadith of Qatada from Anas has already appeared at 3792, with a slight difference.
