She was weeping, so I asked, "What makes you cry?"She replied, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ," meaning in a dream, "with dust on his head and beard. I said, 'What has happened to you, Messenger of Allah?' He said, 'I just witnessed the killing of Husayn.'"He said, this is a rare hadith.

[Its chain is daif]. Tabarani narrated it in Al-Kabir, 23/373, no. 882, from the hadith of Ashaj through him.Salma Bakriyyah is unknown (Taqrib), and Razin bin Habib is reliable. Ahmad narrated, 1/283, and others with a hasan chain, from Ibn Abbas, who said, "I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in a dream at midday, disheveled and dusty, with a small bottle in his hand containing blood. I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, what is this?' He said, 'This is the blood of Husayn and his companions. I have not stopped collecting it today.'"They took note of that day, and found that he had indeed been killed on that very day.
