Abdullah bin Umar reported,

Look at this man asking about the blood of a mosquito, when they have killed the grandson of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "Hasan and Husayn are my two sweet basils from this world."

حدثنا عقبة بن مكرم العمي حدثنا وهب بن جرير بن حازم حدثنا أبي عن محمد بن أبي يعقوب عن عبد الرحمن بن أبي نعم أن رجلا من أهل العراق سأل ابن عمر عن دم البعوض يصيب الثوب

فقال ابن عمر

انظروا إلى هذا يسأل عن دم البعوض وقد قتلوا ابن رسول الله ﷺ وسمعت رسول الله ﷺ يقول إن الحسن والحسين هما ريحانتاي من الدنيا

[Its isnad is sahih] Nasai transmitted it in Khasais: 145 from the hadith of Wahb bin Jareer through the same route, and Bukhari narrated it, no: 3753, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Abu Yaqub through the same route. The hadith of Shubah [Bukhari, no: 3753] and Mahdi bin Maymun [Bukhari in Adab al-Mufrad, no: 85, and Ahmad: 2/93], and the hadith of Abu Hurairah [I did not find it].
