Abu Hurairah reported,
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "What an excellent man Abu Bakr is. What an excellent man Umar is. What an excellent man Abu Ubayda bin Jarra is."This is a hasan hadith. We know it only through the narration of Suhayl.

[Its chain of transmission is sahih]. Ahmad also reported it, 2/419, from Qutayba with the same chain. Hakim graded it sahih according to the criteria of Muslim, 3/133, 268, and Dhahabi agreed with him. It will come again at 3795. In Hakim and in Nasai's Kubra, hadith 8230, it appears as Abdul-Aziz bin Abu Hazim.
