Burayda reported,

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ went out on one of his military expeditions. When he returned, a black slave girl came and said, "Messenger of Allah, I made a vow that if Allah brought you back safely, I would beat the tambourine before you and sing."The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to her, "If you made such a vow, then beat it. Otherwise, do not."So she began to beat the tambourine. Abu Bakr entered while she was beating it. Then Ali entered while she was beating it. Then Uthman entered while she was beating it. Then Umar entered, and she threw the tambourine under her backside and sat on it.The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Satan is truly afraid of you, Umar. I was sitting and she was beating the tambourine. Abu Bakr entered and she was beating it. Then Ali entered and she was beating it. Then Uthman entered and she was beating it. But when you entered, Umar, she threw the tambourine away."
