The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Let each one of you ask his Lord for all his needs, even for the strap of his sandal when it breaks."
حدثنا أبو داود سليمان بن الأشعث السجزي حدثنا قطن البصري أخبرنا جعفر بن سليمان عن ثابت
قال رسول الله ﷺ ليسأل أحدكم ربه حاجته كلها حتى يسأل شسع نعله إذا انقطع
[Its isnad is hasan] Abu Yaala reported it, no. 3403, from Qatan bin Nusayr Anbari Basri with the same wording, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih (al-Ihsan), 863, 891, 892.
