A man was supplicating with two fingers, so the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "One, one."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا صفوان بن عيسى حدثنا محمد بن عجلان عن القعقاع عن أبي صالح

[Hasan]. Nasai also narrated it in the Book of Sahw, chapter on the prohibition of gesturing with two fingers and with which finger one should gesture, 3/38, no. 1273, from Muhammad bin Bashshar with the same chain. Hakim graded it sahih at 1/536, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has corroborating narrations in Nasai, 3/38, no. 1272, and Abu Dawud, no. 991, and others.
