The Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate, saying, "My Lord, help me and do not help others against me. Grant me victory and do not grant victory over me. Plan for me and do not plan against me. Guide me and make guidance easy for me. Grant me victory over those who transgress against me. My Lord, make me ever-thankful to You, ever-mindful of You, deeply in awe of You, fully obedient to You, humbly submissive to You, constantly turning to You in sighs of repentance. My Lord, accept my repentance, wash away my sin, answer my supplication, make firm my proof, set my tongue aright, guide my heart, and remove the rancor from my breast."

كان النبي ﷺ يدعو يقول رب أعني ولا تعن علي وانصرني ولا تنصر علي وامكر لي ولا تمكر علي واهدني ويسر الهدى لي وانصرني على من بغى علي رب اجعلني لك شكارا لك ذكارا لك رهابا لك مطواعا لك مخبتا إليك أواها منيبا رب تقبل توبتي واغسل حوبتي وأجب دعوتي وثبت حجتي وسدد لساني واهد قلبي واسلل سخيمة صدري
Its chain of transmission is sahih. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Witr, chapter on what a man says when he finishes his prayer, hadith no. 1510, and Ibn Majah, hadith no. 3830, from the hadith of Sufyan Thawri through this same chain, and he explicitly stated that he heard it directly. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith nos. 2414 and 2415, as did Hakim, 1/519-520, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
