The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The lifespans of my nation range between sixty and seventy, and few among them exceed that."
حدثنا الحسن بن عرفة قال حدثني عبد الرحمن بن محمد المحاربي عن محمد بن عمرو عن أبي سلمة
قال رسول الله ﷺ أعمار أمتي ما بين الستين إلى السبعين وأقلهم من يجوز ذلك
[Hasan]. Ibn Majah also narrated it in the Book of Zuhd, chapter on hope and lifespan, no. 4236, from Hasan bin Arafah with the same wording. Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, no. 2467, as did Hakim, who said it meets the conditions of Muslim, 2/427, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Ibn Manda graded it hasan in al-Tawhid. It has a corroborating narration mentioned previously, no. 2331.
