The Prophet ﷺ said, "When dinner is served and the prayer has been called, begin with dinner."Ibn Umar would eat his dinner while hearing the recitation of the imam.He said, Hannad narrated this to us, Abdah narrated to us, from Ubaydullah, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar.
وروي
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال إذا وضع العشاء وأقيمت الصلاة فابدءوا بالعشاء قال وتعشى ابن عمر وهو يسمع قراءة الإمام قال حدثنا بذلك هناد حدثنا عبدة عن عبيد الله عن نافع عن ابن عمر
Its authenticity is agreed upon. Bukhari also related it in the Book of the Adhan, Chapter "When food is served and the prayer is called," hadith 673, and Muslim, hadith 559, from the hadith of Ubaydullah bin Umar, from Nafi, from Ibn Umar, similarly.
