Messenger of Allah, teach me a supplication to recite in my prayer.He said, "Say, O Allah, I have wronged myself greatly, and none forgives sins but You. So grant me forgiveness from Yourself and have mercy on me. Indeed, You are the Forgiving, the Merciful."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا الليث عن يزيد بن أبي حبيب عن أبي الخير عن عبد الله بن عمرو
يا رسول الله علمني دعاء أدعو به في صلاتي قال قل اللهم إني ظلمت نفسي ظلما كثيرا ولا يغفر الذنوب إلا أنت فاغفر لي مغفرة من عندك وارحمني إنك أنت الغفور الرحيم
Agreed upon (by Bukhari and Muslim). Bukhari narrated it in the chapter on adhan, in the section on supplication before the taslim, hadith no. 834, and Muslim narrated it, hadith no. 2705, from Qutayba with the same chain.
