The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Purification is half of faith. 'Praise be to Allah' fills the scale. 'Glory be to Allah' and 'Praise be to Allah' fill what is between the heavens and the earth. Prayer is a light, charity is a proof, patience is an illumination, and the Quran is either an argument for you or against you. Every person sets out in the morning trading with his soul, either freeing it or destroying it."
