The Prophet ﷺ used to supplicate, saying, "Allah, I seek refuge in You from laziness, old age, cowardice, miserliness, the trial of the Antichrist, and the punishment of the grave."
حدثنا علي بن حجر حدثنا إسمعيل بن جعفر عن حميد
أن النبي ﷺ كان يدعو يقول اللهم إني أعوذ بك من الكسل والهرم والجبن والبخل وفتنة المسيح وعذاب القبر
[Sahih] Nasai also narrated it in "The Book of Seeking Refuge," "Chapter on Seeking Refuge from Worry," 8/257, no. 5453, and 2008, no. 5459, from the hadith of Humayd Tawil with the same wording, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih in Al-Ihsan, no. 1006. The hadith has many corroborating narrations.
