She reported that she saw the Prophet ﷺ performing ablution. She said that he wiped his head, wiping the front of it and the back, his temples, and his ears, all in a single motion.

أنها رأت النبي ﷺ يتوضأ قالت مسح رأسه ومسح ما أقبل منه وما أدبر وصدغيه وأذنيه مرة واحدة
[Hasan]. Abu Dawud (no. 131) and Ibn Majah (nos. 440, 441) also narrated it through Ibn Aqeel with this wording, but its chain is daif. See the previous hadith, of which this is a portion. This hadith has corroborating narrations in Abu Dawud (135) and elsewhere.There is also a report on this subject from Ali [to come: 48], and from the grandfather of Talha bin Musarrif bin Amr, in Abu Dawud (no. 132), but its chain is daif due to certain defects.The statement of Jafar bin Muhammad al-Sadiq has a sahih chain.
