Abdullah bin Masud reported,

Whenever the Prophet ﷺ entered the evening, he would say, "We have entered the evening, and the dominion belongs to Allah, and praise belongs to Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, with no partner." I think he said in it, "To Him belongs the dominion and to Him belongs the praise, and He is capable of all things. I ask You for the good of this night and the good of what comes after it, and I seek refuge in You from the evil of this night and the evil of what comes after it. I seek refuge in You from laziness and the misery of old age, and I seek refuge in You from the punishment of the Fire and the punishment of the grave."When he entered the morning, he would say the same, "We have entered the morning, and the dominion belongs to Allah, and praise belongs to Allah."
