The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "While I was traveling through Paradise, a river appeared before me whose banks were domes of pearl. I asked the angel, 'What is this?' He replied, 'This is al-Kawthar, which Allah has granted you.'"He continued, "Then he struck his hand into its soil and brought out musk. After that, the Lote Tree of the Utmost Boundary was raised up for me, and I saw beside it a tremendous light."
حدثنا أحمد بن منيع حدثنا سريج بن النعمان حدثنا الحكم بن عبد الملك عن قتادة
قال رسول الله ﷺ بينا أنا أسير في الجنة إذ عرض لي نهر حافتاه قباب اللؤلؤ قلت للملك ما هذا قال هذا الكوثر الذي أعطاكه الله قال ثم ضرب بيده إلى طينة فاستخرج مسكا ثم رفعت لي سدرة المنتهى فرأيت عندها نورا عظيما
