I saw a man in Bukhara riding a mule and wearing a black turban, and he was saying, "The Messenger of Allah ﷺ dressed me in this."
حدثنا يحيى بن موسى حدثنا
رأيت رجلا ببخارى على بغلة وعليه عمامة سوداء ويقول كسانيها رسول الله ﷺ
[Its chain of transmission is daif] Abu Dawud also narrated it in the Book of Clothing, Chapter on What Has Been Said Regarding Khazz, no. 4038, from the hadith of Abdul-Rahman bin Abdullah bin Saad, through this same route. Saad bin Uthman Dashtaki was not deemed reliable by anyone except Ibn Hibban. It has been established as sahih that the Messenger of Allah wore a black turban.
