The Prophet ﷺ said regarding this verse, "Then We gave the Book as inheritance to those We chose from among Our servants. Among them is one who wrongs himself, one who follows a middle course, and one who is foremost in good deeds by Allah's permission" [Fatir 35:32], "All of these are of one rank, and all of them are in Paradise."He said, this is a strange, good hadith. We do not know it except through this chain.
حدثنا أبو موسى محمد بن المثنى ومحمد بن بشار قالا حدثنا محمد بن جعفر حدثنا شعبة عن الوليد بن العيزار أنه سمع رجلا من ثقيف يحدث عن رجل من كنانة
عن النبي ﷺ أنه قال في هذه الآية {ثم أورثنا الكتاب الذين اصطفينا من عبادنا فمنهم ظالم لنفسه ومنهم مقتصد ومنهم سابق بالخيرات} قال هؤلاء كلهم بمنزلة واحدة وكلهم في الجنة قال هذا حديث غريب حسن لا نعرفه إلا من هذا الوجه
Its isnad is daif. Ahmad (1/78) also narrated it from Muhammad bin Jafar through the same route. The hadith has daif corroborating narrations found in Hakim (2/426), Ahmad (5/194, 198, 6/444), Tayalisi, and others.
