The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Al-Hamdu Lillah is the Mother of the Quran, the Mother of the Book, and the Seven Oft-Repeated Verses."
حدثنا عبد بن حميد حدثنا أبو علي الحنفي عن ابن أبي ذئب عن المقبري
قال رسول الله ﷺ الحمد لله أم القرآن وأم الكتاب والسبع المثاني
Bukhari also narrated it, in the Tafsir chapter, "Chapter on His saying, 'And We have certainly given you seven of the often-repeated [verses] and the great Quran,'" no. 4704, from the hadith of Muhammad bin Abdul-Rahman bin Abu Dhib, through this same chain.
