The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "The noble one, son of the noble one, son of the noble one, son of the noble one is Yusuf, son of Yaqub, son of Ishaq, son of Ibrahim."He also said, "Had I remained in prison as long as Yusuf did and then the messenger had come to me, I would have responded immediately." Then he recited, "So when the messenger came to him, he said, 'Return to your master and ask him what is the case of the women who cut their hands'" [Yusuf 12:50].He then said, "May Allah have mercy on Lut. He was indeed seeking refuge in a strong support when he said, 'If only I had strength to oppose you or could take shelter in a strong support' [Hud 11:80]. Allah did not send any prophet after him except among the elite of his people."Abu Kurayb narrated to us, Abdah and Abd al-Rahim narrated to us from Muhammad bin Amr, a similar narration to that of Fadl bin Musa, except that he said, "Allah did not send any prophet after him except among the wealth of his people." Muhammad bin Amr said, "Wealth here means abundance and protection."
