The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came out to us during his final illness with his head bound in a cloth, and he led us in the Maghrib prayer, reciting Surah al-Mursalat. She said, he did not pray it again after that until he met Allah.

خرج إلينا رسول الله ﷺ وهو عاصب رأسه في مرضه فصلى المغرب فقرأ بالمرسلات قالت فما صلاها بعد حتى لقي الله

Bukhari transmitted it in the chapter on adhan, section on recitation in Maghrib, no. 863, and Muslim, no. 462, from the hadith of Zuhri, with the basic wording of the hadith, and the hadith has corroborating narrations.There are also narrations on this subject from Jubayr bin Mutim [Bukhari, no. 765, and Muslim, no. 463], Ibn Umar [Ibn Majah, no. 833], Abu Ayub [Ahmad, 5/185, 418, and Ibn Khuzayma, no. 518, 540], and Zayd bin Thabit [Bukhari, no. 764].
