When the verse "There is no blame upon those who believe and do righteous deeds for what they have eaten, so long as they fear Allah and believe and do righteous deeds" [Maidah 5:93] was revealed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to me, "You are among them."He said, this is a hasan sahih hadith.
حدثنا سفيان بن وكيع حدثنا خالد بن مخلد عن علي بن مسهر عن الأعمش عن إبراهيم عن علقمة
لما نزلت {ليس على الذين آمنوا وعملوا الصالحات جناح فيما طعموا إذا ما اتقوا وآمنوا وعملوا الصالحات} قال لي رسول الله ﷺ أنت منهم قال هذا حديث حسن صحيح
Muslim also recorded it in the Book of the Virtues of the Companions, in the chapter on the virtues of Abdullah bin Masud and his mother, may Allah be pleased with both of them, hadith no. 2459, from the hadith of Ali bin Mushir, with the same chain.
