The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered the mosque, and a man came in, prayed, then approached the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him with peace. The Prophet returned the greeting and said, "Go back and pray, for you have not prayed."The man went back and prayed as he had prayed before, then came to the Prophet ﷺ and greeted him. The Prophet
returned the greeting, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him, "Go back and pray, for you have not prayed."This happened three times, until the man said, "By the One who sent you with the truth, I cannot do better than this. Teach me."The Prophet said, "When you stand for prayer, say the takbir, then recite whatever is easy for you from the Quran. Then bow until you are at rest in bowing. Then rise until you stand upright. Then prostrate until you are at rest in prostration. Then rise until you are at rest sitting. Do this throughout all of your prayer."
