Sources. Its chain is daif. Ibn Majah also narrated it (see the previous hadith) from Ibn Abu Umar with the same wording. Qatada and Ibn Abu Aruba are both known for concealing their sources, and both narrated using the word "an".On this subject there are also narrations from Uthman [see hadith 31], Ayesha [Ahmad 6/234], Umm Salama [Tabarani in Kabir 23/298, no. 664], Anas [Abu Dawud, no. 145, and Ibn Majah, no. 431], Ibn Abu Awfa [Abu Ubayd Qasim bin Salam in Kitab Tuhur, no. 82, whose basis is found in Ibn Majah, no. 416], and Abu Ayub [Ibn Majah, no. 433].
