The Prophet ﷺ said, "The Quran will come on the Day of Resurrection and say, 'My Lord, adorn him.' So he will be clothed with the crown of honor. Then it will say, 'My Lord, give him more.' So he will be clothed with the robe of honor. Then it will say, 'My Lord, be pleased with him.' So Allah will be pleased with him. Then it will be said to him, 'Recite and ascend,' and for every verse he will be increased by one good deed."
حدثنا نصر بن علي حدثنا عبد الصمد بن عبد الوارث أخبرنا شعبة عن عاصم عن أبي صالح
عن النبي ﷺ قال يجيء القرآن يوم القيامة فيقول يا رب حله فيلبس تاج الكرامة ثم يقول يا رب زده فيلبس حلة الكرامة ثم يقول يا رب ارض عنه فيرضى عنه فيقال له اقرأ وارق وتزاد بكل آية حسنة
[Its chain of transmission is hasan]. Hakim narrated it in 1/552 from the hadith of Abdul-Samad through the same route, and he graded it sahih, and Dhahabi agreed with him. Ahmad also narrated it in 2/471 from the hadith of Abu Salih through the same route, in an abridged form. 2/471
