"Praise be to Allah, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah."Ibn Umar said, "And I too say, 'Praise be to Allah, and peace be upon the Messenger of Allah,' but this is not how the Messenger of Allah ﷺ taught us. He taught us to say, 'Praise be to Allah in every circumstance.'"

الحمد لله والسلام على رسول الله قال ابن عمر وأنا أقول الحمد لله والسلام على رسول الله وليس هكذا علمنا رسول الله ﷺ علمنا أن نقول الحمد لله على كل حال
[Its chain of transmission is hasan]. Hakim graded it sahih in Mustadrak: 4/265, 266, and Dhahabi agreed with him. The hadith has corroborating narrations. Hadrami is Ibn Lahiq.
