He heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, "When a servant prostrates, seven limbs prostrate with him: his face, his two palms, his two knees, and his two feet."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا بكر بن مضر عن ابن الهاد عن محمد بن إبراهيم عن عامر بن سعد بن أبي وقاص
أنه سمع رسول الله ﷺ يقول إذا سجد العبد سجد معه سبعة آراب وجهه وكفاه وركبتاه وقدماه
Muslim also narrated it, in the Book of Prayer, chapter on the parts of the body used in sujud and the prohibition of tucking up the hair or garment... etc, hadith no. 491, from Qutayba, with the same wording.On this subject there are also narrations from Ibn Abbas [to come, no. 273], Abu Hurairah [Tabarani in Al-Awsat, 8/361, hadith no. 7736], Jabir [Khatib in Tarikh Baghdad, 8/387], and Abu Saeed [Bayhaqi, 2/85].
