I sought permission to enter upon the Prophet ﷺ regarding a debt that my father owed.He asked, "Who is this?"I replied, "It is I."He said, "I, I!" as though he disliked that response.

Agreed upon [by Bukhari and Muslim]. Bukhari also narrated it in the Book of Seeking Permission, Chapter, "If he said, 'Who is this?' and the other replied, 'It is I'," Hadith 6250, and Muslim, Hadith 2155, from the hadith of Shubah, through him.
