The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Faith will retreat to the Hijaz just as a snake retreats to its hole, and faith will cling to the Hijaz as the mountain goat clings to the peak of the mountain. Faith began as something strange and will return to being strange, so blessed are the strangers, those who restore what people have corrupted of my Sunnah after me."
حدثنا عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن أخبرنا إسمعيل بن أبي أويس
أن رسول الله ﷺ قال إن الدين ليأرز إلى الحجاز كما تأرز الحية إلى جحرها وليعقلن الدين من الحجاز معقل الأروية من رأس الجبل إن الدين بدأ غريبا ويرجع غريبا فطوبى للغرباء الذين يصلحون ما أفسد الناس من بعدي من سنتي
