The Prophet ﷺ said, "Between disbelief and faith stands the abandonment of prayer."
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا جرير وأبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن أبي سفيان
أن النبي ﷺ قال بين الكفر والإيمان ترك الصلاة
Muslim also narrated it in the Book of Iman, chapter on the application of the name of disbelief to one who abandons prayer, hadith no. 82, from the hadith of Jareer, with the same wording.
