The Messenger of Allah ﷺ addressed the people and admonished them, then said, "Women, give in charity, for you make up the majority of the inhabitants of Hell."A woman among them asked, "Why is that, Messenger of Allah?"He replied, "Because you curse frequently and are ungrateful to your husbands. I have never seen anyone more capable of overpowering men of intellect and sound judgment than you, despite your deficiency in reason and religion."A woman among them asked, "What is the deficiency in her religion and reason?"He answered, "The testimony of two of you equals the testimony of one man, that is the deficiency in reason. As for the deficiency in your religion, one of you spends three or four days without praying during her menstrual period."
حدثنا أبو عبد الله هريم بن مسعر الأزدي الترمذي حدثنا عبد العزيز بن محمد عن سهيل بن أبي صالح عن أبيه
أن رسول الله ﷺ خطب الناس فوعظهم ثم قال يا معشر النساء تصدقن فإنكن أكثر أهل النار فقالت امرأة منهن ولم ذاك يا رسول الله قال لكثرة لعنكن يعني وكفركن العشير قال وما رأيت من ناقصات عقل ودين أغلب لذوي الألباب وذوي الرأي منكن قالت امرأة منهن وما نقصان دينها وعقلها قال شهادة امرأتين منكن بشهادة رجل ونقصان دينكن الحيضة تمكث إحداكن الثلاث والأربع لا تصلي
Its isnad is sahih. Ibn Khuzayma also narrated it, no. 1000, from the hadith of Abdul-Aziz Darawardi with the same wording, and Muslim narrated it, no. 132/80, through another route from Abu Hurairah with the same wording, as a suspended narration.On this subject there is also a narration from Abu Saeed [Muslim, no. 132/80] and Ibn Umar [Muslim, no. 132/79].
