The Prophet ﷺ said, "Boiling water will be poured over their heads, and it will penetrate until it reaches into their insides, scouring out everything within them until it pours forth from their feet. This is the melting. Then they will be restored to their original state."Saeed bin Yazid had the kunya Abu Shuja and was Egyptian. Layth bin Saad narrated from him.
حدثنا سويد أخبرنا عبد الله أخبرنا سعيد بن يزيد عن أبي السمح عن ابن حجيرة
عن النبي ﷺ قال إن الحميم ليصب على رءوسهم فينفذ الحميم حتى يخلص إلى جوفه فيسلت ما في جوفه حتى يمرق من قدميه وهو الصهر ثم يعاد كما كان وسعيد بن يزيد يكنى أبا شجاع وهو مصري وقد روى عنه الليث بن سعد
[Its isnad is hasan]. Ahmad narrated it in 2/274 from the hadith of Ibn Mubarak, with this wording, and it is found in his Zuhd (additions of Nuaym, no. 313). Hakim graded it sahih in 22/387, and Dhahabi agreed with him.Abu Samh Darraj is daif when narrating from Abu Haytham, but hasan when narrating from others.
