The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to say takbir with every lowering and rising, every standing and sitting, and so did Abu Bakr and Umar.
حدثنا قتيبة حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن أبي إسحق عن عبد الرحمن بن الأسود عن علقمة والأسود
كان رسول الله ﷺ يكبر في كل خفض ورفع وقيام وقعود وأبو بكر وعمر
[Sahih]. Nasai also recorded it, 2/205, no. 1084, from the hadith of Abu Ishaq Sabi, with the same wording. This hadith has very many corroborating narrations.
