They had slaughtered a sheep, and the Prophet ﷺ asked, "What remains of it?"She replied, "Nothing remains of it except its shoulder."He said, "All of it remains except its shoulder."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد عن سفيان عن أبي إسحق عن أبي ميسرة
أنهم ذبحوا شاة فقال النبي ﷺ ما بقي منها قالت ما بقي منها إلا كتفها قال بقي كلها غير كتفها
[Its chain is hasan] Ahmad narrated it in 6/50 from Yahya Qattan through this same route. Abu Ishaq stated explicitly that he heard it directly, as recorded by Bukhari in Tarikh al-Kabir 4/230. The hadith has a corroborating narration in Ibn Abu Shayba 3/112 and elsewhere.
