The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "When one of you loves his brother, let him tell him so."
حدثنا بندار حدثنا يحيى بن سعيد القطان حدثنا ثور بن يزيد عن حبيب بن عبيد
قال رسول الله ﷺ إذا أحب أحدكم أخاه فليعلمه إياه
Grading, its isnad is hasan. Abu Dawud narrated it in the Book of Manners, Chapter on a man loving another man for good he sees in him, hadith 5124, from the hadith of Yahya bin Saeed Qattan with this chain, and Ibn Hibban graded it sahih, hadith 2514. There is also a report on this topic from Abu Dharr [Ahmad 5/145, 173] and from Anas [Ibn Hibban, hadith 2513].Grading, its isnad is daif because it is disconnected, and it has another flaw. Ibn Abu Shayba narrated it, 9/106, hadith 26633, from Hatim bin Ismail with this chain.
