Takhrij, its chain of transmission is daif. Khatib narrated it, 53/8, from the hadith of Bishr bin Hilal, through this chain. Yunus bin Ubayd narrated it using "an," indicating an ambiguous chain. See hadith no. 2425 for the hadith of Hasan from Abu Hurairah.Bukhari narrated it, hadith nos. 2886, 2887, and 6435, from the hadith of Abu Salih, with the wording, "Wretched is the slave of the dinar and the slave of the dirham."
