There were two brothers during the time of the Prophet ﷺ. One of them used to attend upon the Prophet ﷺ, while the other worked to earn a living. The working brother complained about his brother to the Prophet ﷺ, who said, "Perhaps you are provided for because of him."
حدثنا محمد بن بشار حدثنا أبو داود الطيالسي حدثنا حماد بن سلمة عن ثابت
كان أخوان على عهد النبي ﷺ فكان أحدهما يأتي النبي ﷺ والآخر يحترف فشكا المحترف أخاه إلى النبي ﷺ فقال لعلك ترزق به
[Its isnad is sahih]. It was narrated by Hakim (1/93, 94) and by Ibn Abdul-Barr in Jami Bayan Ilm (1/93) and its virtue (1/59), from the hadith of Tayalisi through the same chain. Hakim graded it sahih according to the criterion of Muslim, and Dhahabi agreed with him.
